Australian indie duo Geowulf have hit us with their latest single, ‘Drown’ and its accompanying music video. This is a relaxed cut that utilises swirling electric guitar layers to form thick textures. Musically, the band have established an alt-indie sound that lets them borrow from a variety of genres, ranging from dream pop to country. “In a way this song is about love (or a form of it) and how when you can fall in love it can be magical but not always right,” they explain. “This song is about finding a new space to exist in love or friendship after the breakdown of a relationship.” Keep an eye out for more from Geowulf. -Dan Peeke
